As the Marketing & Sales Manager, Mik is accountable for developing and executing the marketing and sales functions for Change Factory. His role spans the full spectrum, from attending seminars, conferences and events as a delegate to exhibiting at seminars, conferences and events to sell our services to potential clients. Mik has a graphic design background, and has a strong right and left brain crossover. He also enjoys helping clients with the occasional marketing consulting assignment.

What are you passionate about?
Making a difference and enabling people to embrace change and make it happen, through the work that we do for our clients. I enjoy seeing the fruits of our labour, when a noticeable change has occurred as a result of our consulting engagement. I also get excited about good branding and good design. The effect they can have on a business is immeasurable.
Who (or what) inspires you?
There are two extremes. I am inspired by people who achieve great things from small and humble beginnings, such as Richard Branson, or Apple. But I am also inspired by local, normal people such as my son’s English teacher, who is clearly passionate about her job and has her students’ best interests at heart. I have great admiration for people like that.
What does change mean to you?
Change means opportunity. It can be scary, and risky, such as the changes that occurred when I found myself caught up in redundancy situations in the past. But you have to get on the front foot, not sit around and wait for things to happen.
Why do you love working at Change Factory?
The people. We have a team of smart people who are committed to the company and genuinely care about each other and our clients. I also love working for Kevin. I have a lot to learn, but I also have opportunities to develop my skills and a supportive environment in which to try.
